Zombie walked to the hospital wing after she left the little scene in the Entrance Hall. She had a bunch of glass in her arms and upper portion of her body from when it broke. She still had the girl too, thinking the Professor was still with Jack she just decided to go to the Hospital Wing and Hope maybe Jean could help her with the girl too.
She didn't think the girl deserved to suffer like this. It was breaking her own heart, she couldn't imagine what the poor thing was feeling. Though sh was glad she had been able to sooth her enough for her to stop crying. She was now just slightly sniffling. She continued to hush her and whisper soothing words in both French and English as she slightly rocked her and walked into the Hospital Wing to see if anyone would be there.

Jean was in the hospital wing, finishing some work. It seemed a lot of students were getting injured lately.
She looked up when she saw Zombie. "Goodness! What happened to you?!" She very gently began removing the glass.

"Maria was scared." Said Zombie as she hissed lightly. She hated having glass in her, but it seemed to hurt less then taking it out. "She's a Ghost, and so miserable. I don't know how to help her." She said Tears falling again. Not from the pain, but not being able to help the poor little girl. It was what she was supposed to do. Why else would she be brought into the world. It was like her purpose, this, and to find a cure for Cancer. Besides that, she was useless.

"Well, I don't know much about ghosts" said Jean. "Has she told you why she's still here?"

"No all she does is cry and now she thinks Jack's bad dreams are her fault." Said Zombie shaking her head. She really did wish maria would talk to her however.

"Unfortunately, this is one thing I can't help you with." Jean smiled. She felt bad, but this was one area that she really couldn't help with. Her powers didn't extend to ghosts.

"What why? She's just like any other kid. You just can't see her." She said looking at her with pleading eyes. Dr. Grey must have had to deal with Kids before. Zombie didn't know how to deal with kids. "Don't you know anything about kids?" She asked desperately.

"I used to be better..." said Jean. "You seem to be doing pretty well. Try asking her why she hasn't moved on."

"I did already. She won't talk. She answered two questions earlier, and now all she does is Sob. And it gets worse when I ask her now. How am I supposed to ask her without her crying?" Said Zombie her heart felt like it was breaking. It was hard when Spirits got attached to you, because you got attached to them.

"You have to use your powers. Strengthen them. Hold your hand over her, and try to sense her thoughts..."

"But, but. I'm no telepath. I'm just a psychic gone majorly wrong." Said Zombie. She was technically a physic, with the bonus of the soul reading, corpse reanimation and the fact that she was a more powerful physic. Most people could only get like "Vibes" she saw them like they were really still alive.

"You're telepathic where the dead are concerned. Just try. You might surprise yourself."

"You sure?" Asked Zombie as she took one of her arms from around Maria. She had been holding her tight, close to her trying to give her comfort. It seemed that was all the younger spirits ever needed. But she was different. "Shhhh, it's ok." She assured the girl as she shook a little when she took her arm away. She hugged her closer with the other and arm as she examined her free hand in front of her. "Positive?" She asked again, a little shaky and gulped.
Sure she didn't get along with most, and she was mean. But when it came to ghosts, she changed. She was someone new. Someone who they could turn to, someone who will help. Especially kids. She knew what it was like the be young and scared. She had lived it. And she felt all their pains and sufferings. On the flip side, she felt the happiness of the Happy ones. Though they were few and far between. The happy ones usually didn't linger.

Zombie took a large gulp and put a hand over the girls head, then slowly removed her other hand from around the girl to do that same with that one. She had one hand over each of her temples. She bite her lip hard and closed her eyes so that she would be able to concentrate harder. Everything came to her in flashes. Like a slight slide show of the girls short life.
Coloring a book with the wrong color. A older woman, who Zombie guessed was Maria;s mother stood there. "What the Hell do you think your doing! That's not a color for a cow. Your useless!" She yelled and slapped Maria.
Next thing she saw was the floor and blood on it, coming from the mouth of the little girl. Her mother still screaming and her crumpled on the floor crying.
There were more memories like this, but somehow Zombie was able to skip through them on to what was really bugging Maria.
A man stood there yelling at her, swaying slightly, and Zombie could almost literally smell the alcohol off of him. He was yelling at the poor little girl standing there clutching her Teddy Bear crying. The things the man were saying were horrible. "I'm sorry Daddy. I won't do it again." She cried truly frightened. And that's when it happened. He pulled out a gun and pointed at her head. "I'm sorry Daddy. I love you I'm sorry." She cried trying to calm him down. "You little B!tch. I hate you!" He yelled and there was a loud bang and noting more.
Zombie gasped as she pulled her hands away, she had new tears running down her face and she sobbed wrapping her arms tightly around Maria. No child should have to go through that! She felt true anger course through her. That man should not be allowed to live, nor Maria's mother. She felt so miserable and so angry. But at least she knew what she would have to do to make the girl move on. But she was scared to let her go on alone. She wanted to go with her, protect her.
