"Well, you kind of acted like you did" said Door with a smile, and a laugh. It was true, but it was just Pearl being silly. "She's just scared. She's really scared. But I think someone had better talk to her soon. She's been at the bottom of the fountain all day."

Door smiled. "Look, I just want you to be happy. No one's really asked Luke how he feels in all this, and I'm sure he needs some time to sort it out. I just don't want anyone to get hurt. And with Dream's...condition...well, the sooner you guys sort this out, the better."

I basically just came up here to appologize and tell him that I hoped we coud still be friends...because I hadn't meant to ruin a possible friendship before it got started good by putting all this complicated stuff in it. But Dream asked, and I wasn't going to lie to her. So I tod her, and she announced it to the world." Pearl sighed, then looked to Luke. "I'm not expecting anything from you. I just thought you deserved to hear it from me, not someone else."

Door looked at both of them, and smiled. "Well, I know you both, and I'm sure whatever happens you'll always be good friends." Door had a way of making everything feel ok.

OOC: Try not to get carried away with the posting, guys, because I get left behind and it's hard to post after a long silence.
Luke sighed inwardly, glad it was mostly sorted out. Now he had to talk to Dream. "I think I should talk to her... alone, for now." He left the room and started looking for Dream. He wasn't sure where the X-Men's dorms were. It would be more convenient if she just lived with the rest of them.
