Running back with Jean in tow, she ran right into Luke, not looking in front of her, only behind at Jean's face. She was scared for Jack. She'd seen him freak out once before, but never like this. It ripped her heart out. She knew he was a good kid, not deserving of all this happening to him. "Oh," she grunted, hitting him, then saw who it was. "Sorry," she spat and pushed past him to Logan. "Is he alright?" she asked, hoping between he and Jean they could help him.

Jean rushed into the room, panicked that it had taken her so long to get there.

Logan glanced up as Jean entered the room. "Finally. I don't know, he was with Pearl and started having a flashback, it looks like. Little brat bit me." He growled. "You have to stop it somehow. He's gonna hurt himself."

Luke furrowed his eyebrows when Pearl pushed him. What did he do? He'd apologized for so many things lately he didn't even remember what was wrong anymore. He swallowed a lump in his throat as he watched Jack writhe. It was hard to watch. And he'd bitten Wolverine hard enough to make him angry. What the hell was going on?

Jean quickly placed her hand over Jack's head, concentrating all her energy on soothing him...

The lightning arced through him again, as steady as before. The pain was inconceivable. Jack was absolutely certain he was dying. Then there was a block. A fog between the pain and fear, and himself. Jack stopped jerking, the lighting faded away. Then everything was gone.

Logan felt Jack suddenly go limp in his arms. Jean must have done something to stop the flashback. Logan sighed and looked at her. "What now? Should we leave him alone, or do you think the Professor should see him? I know he's bust with Screech, but this is kind of important, don't you think?"

"I would take him to the Professor" said Jean. "Something drastic has to be done - this can't go on much longer..."

Logan nodded. "Luke, go find Professor X and tell him we're taking Jack to the lab." He ordered. He lifted Jack in his arms and started to the lab, motioning Jean to follow him.
