At dinner Emma decided to approach Zombie, newly returned, to see if the girl was going to be a valuable asset or possible threat to her cause. She plated her tuna salad sandwich and baked potato chips, along with a glass of water and headed over to where Zombie sat alone, seemingly engrossed in her food (though it was barely touched). Emma hovered over her a minute, with that bright, seemingly-inviting smile and sparkling eyes before asking, "May I sit with you?"
Her adult voice didn't exactly match her still-young figure. It was funny how she had retained her youth so well. Perhaps the mind was a more powerful tool than anyone realized.

Zombie sat there just staring at her Grilled Cheese. She had once seen this one Grilled Cheese, and it had a picture of the Virgin Mary in it. So she was now looking for pictures. She wasn't really hungry anyway. She was still slightly out of it. The four months had done her little Good, and the things she came back too didn't help.
She was surprised when she heard a voice and looked up to see Emma Frost. Pearls mother right.... Grrreeeeaaattttt.
"Decore."
She said, not realizing she hadn't spoken English. She had forgotten that she was now in America, not France anymore. She didn't look up at Emma though. So she missed the smile.

"I'll take that as a yes." she responded, daintily putting her tray in front of Zombie and sitting down, crossing her legs. "Grilled cheese not up to par today?" she asked, the girl still staring at, instead of eating her food. She was a strange girl, and Emma took note of it. Maybe that would be to her benefit though. She'd been told the girl had simply disappeared for four whole months and no one quite knew why. A rambler, Emma liked this. Now to crack open a little bit of that mind of hers and understand why. She focused on the girl so as to hear what came out of her mouth as well as what was rolling around in that skull.

Zombie lifted her eyes a little as she watched Emma put her tray down.
"Guess you will."
She said finally sitting up and looking at her straight on. She wouldn't usually just sit there and talk to her. But obviously Zombie wasn't really her regular self. And she wished she knew how to get back to that place. She purposely lifted her sandwich and took a bite of it, her eyes never leaving Emma's.
"What makes you ask that?"
She asked in a snotty voice. What did this girl want? She wished she would stop the formalities and get to the point. She obviously wanted something.

"You just hadn't touched the thing." she responded. She sighed, looking at the girl who was obviously annoyed by her presence. "Look, I'm not trying to upset you by being here. You just...haven't been around. I like to get to know my students, and i've made at least a little leeway with the others, if not much. I just want to know who you are." Maybe a direct approach was the way to go. Maybe she could get something out of the girl then.

Zombie raised an eyebrow while she chewed on her sandwich. Well at least she was getting to the point. Though she didn't know why she asked. Wasn't she psychic?
"There's nothing to know."
She stated simply. And there wasn't really. Nothing no one didn't already know. She was always up front about pretty much everything. Most people knew she lost her Mom and Dad. Knew she lived on the Streets in Paris. And knew her Power. What was there beyond that?

"There's something to know about everyone." Emma replied. Everyone was hiding something. She was. "And Yes, I know you're thinking i'm psychic, and I don't just know that because I am. I don't like to use that on people unless it's necessary. It's a real invasion of privacy."
She pushed the chips around her plate with a fork, then looked back at Zombie. "You know my parents disowned me...so I know a little about what it's like to lose parents. They tried to kill my brother and put me in an insane asylum because we were different..gifted..."

"C'est Vrai."
She stated simply. It was a HUGE invasion of Privacy. And privacy was something she liked very much. Especially lately, so maybe this girl would respect it slightly?
She groaned and Rolled her eyes. She wasn't going to start this was she? She took another bite of sandwich and listened. And just chewed.
"Bummer."
Was all she said to it. She wasn't going to talk about her parents. This was completely different. Zombie never knew her Mother. Her Father loved her. He died, and left her, but He had loved her. It was different to be disowned. You weren't loved. There wasn't that strong connection.

"Is there anything that wouldn't p1ss you off for you to talk to me about?" she inquired, seeing that had only worsened matters. "I'm not trying to upset you, really. You may not believe me, but I just feel like we've been at a disadvantage with you gone. Tell me about your trip...or what color you like...or what it's like here...or how much you hate me. Tell me anything." Just to get a reading on this girl would be nice.

Zombie gave a questioning look to Emma.
"We who? What Disadvantage?"
She asked her curiously. Then she went on as she waited. Maybe if she gave this girl a Bone she might back off.
"Black. I like Black."
She stated simply. She dind't know what she was after, so she didn't know what she believed. But she did know that she really wanted to get something out of her. Her Aura said it all.

"Well by we I meant me and you...us as a student and teacher relationship. I simply can't help tailor the class to everyone's needs if I don't know a little bit about them. It's been a struggle with the others too, but i've had a few months with them that I just haven't had with you." Nonetheless, she was glad the girl was cooperating..a bit. "Black's a good color. Looks nice with your hair." She smiled again.
"Are there any students that you have an particular bonds or problems with? Just so I can know for class purposes..."

"Don't tailor anything. I probably won't come."
She stated simply. Though smiled a little while Emma gave her a compliment. It sounded pretty pathetic in her ears. But whatever. She laughed outright when she asked about the students though.
"Dream's a B.I.T.C.H who I wish didn't exits. I'd like to knock Pearl silly. Luke is annoying. And Jack my only Friend."
She stated simply staring her right in the eye. She didn't care if she was a teacher or not. She asked a question and she was going to give a straight answer. She dind't even care Pearl was her Daughter and just said she wanted to beat the snot out of her.

'At least you're honest." she laughed. "And thank you for your honesty. I hope you do come." she smiled.

"Well I'm good at Honest. I let people know what's on my mind."
She said simply. She took the last bite of her Grilled Cheese and then finished it. She looked at Emma and waited to see what was next.

"Am I thoroughly invading your territory still?" Emma half smiled. She wanted the girl to loosen up with her. She seemed useful. In the very least, entertaining. "Or could we be sudo-friends someday?"
