PowersSimply put she possesses the powers of commonly known mythical creatures. She can survive in any element - Earth can not crush her, Fire can not burn her, She can fly, and survive in water (thereby unifying elements of the mythical Phoenix, Fairy, Elf, and Mermaid.) She has the power to create illusions and dreams, and can also sense other people's dreams and wishes (hence her name Dream) meaning she is telepathic. She can sometimes foresee the future. She can be off putting - one is never sure if the things, and people around them are real or not - especially when she's around.
Because of her potential age, and her ability to adapt to any element (weapons can not hurt her, since she adapts to whatever their natural make up is) it is believed that the only thing that could kill her is a broken heart. Although she can adapt to any element she can not necessairily move through it (i.e phasing) therefore it is possible for her to be imprisoned.
Birthplace: Unknown. The common belief is somewhere near the Greek Islands.
Allegience X-Men
Appearance: Very few people have ever seen her in her true form. Naturally she exists more as a collection of shimmering light beams with a human like form than as a flesh and blood body. Because of her powers of illusion she can appear to be human - though she is not a metamorph - she can not make herself look like someone else, just give the illusion that she has a human body. Perhaps it's what she would look like were she not a mutant. However, when she creates dreams or illusions (either waking or sleeping) she can appear however she wants - and can make it appear that others are present. When she fly's she displays shimmering wings, and displays a mermaid's tale in water. However, no one is sure if this is truly how she appears in these elements, or merely an illusion.
She stands at about 5'6'', and always seems to float. She is extremely graceful, and has a fragile, thin body. She is stunningly beautiful, but not in an overtly sexual way. Enchanting is a perfect word to describe her.
She appears to have vibrant red hair, blue eyes, and pale skin.

Background History: No one is sure where she came from, or how old she is. It is actually believed that she may have been one of the first mutants, because of her strong connection to mythology - and she seems to have been alive for a long time. After a long search she was found by Professor X who took her to his school. Although she is most likely much older than them, she fits in as a student - and enjoys learning, though she tends to be quiet - often knowing much more than any of the other students. Because of her maturity she is a recent member of the X-Men, one of the few students to be allowed into their inner sanctum.
Personality Traits/Flaws: Quiet, secretive, and sad, but also possessing a great strength and determination. She is fearful, but also very wise. Has a tendency to sit in the fire in the fire place when she's sad and wants to be alone.
Intrests/Hobbies Stargazing, exploring, swimming, good intense discussions
