Will pondered a moment. He had heard a little about Dream's powers, but even after five whole years at the school, he still didn't know everything. So he thought he'd amuse her.

"Oh, that's nothing" said Dream. "Here. How about this?" Instantly the world around them seemed to melt away. It was suddenly dark, but it wasn't night...where was the sun? "Look up" said Dream. There, coming over the horizon was an "earth rise." They were standing on the moon.

Will looked around and his eyes widened. The earth was coming over the horizon of the moon like the sun did on earth. "Whoa." he breathed. He looked to Dream. "How can we breath up here?"

Dream smiled, and it faded away. "It's technically only an illusion." She said. "Technically, I could have made there be no air, but I didn't think that would be very enjoyable. You can interact with it too..."

Will raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Wow." So that meant that Dream was probably from around the time the first civilizations came into being. Which was a very long time ago.

Will smiled. He liked her laugh. At Dream's question, he combed his fingers through his hair distractedly.
"I'm 21." he shrugged. "I've been here a few years. I guess I just never learn."
He didn't really like being older than one of the teachers, even if it was a few months difference. It was like in the old days, where the teachers were younger than their students.
