Zombie sat in the Library with about a billion books in front of her. Doing research... again. She was Hell bent on making sure she found cure before she died. She had promised herself that. And she didn't want to end up like the rest of the Ghosts she talked to and stay on earth all because of some unfinished business she had. She wouldn't stand for it.
She rubbed her eyes tired. She couldn't remember how long she had been in here. And she didn't bother to take her phone out and check. She turned another page and planted her head on her hand to keep her up while she read the next page about Melanoma. It was all really hard work. What with having trouble with all the huge English words and just some a the plain out words she didn't understand. She was sure she was going to be ninety by the time she found the cure.

Door wandered subversively into the library, and walked up to a locked cabinate - containing books forbidden for students. When she was sure no one was looking, she unlocked the door, and took out a couple books on underground tunnel systems. Hurredly she closed the cabinate back up, and went to a desk in a corner by herself.

When Zombie had heard the noise she had looked up. Noticing Door, and seeing her Soul was Orange, mischievous. She was intrigued and watched her go. and she thought no one was looking. She almost laughed to herself. "I'm not blind you know." She said to her glad to have a little break from her research.
She wondered what it was she might have wanted so bad from the cabinet. Nothing in there had ever striked her as anything important. but what did she know. she didn't really know this girl very well. She was somewhat elusive in Zombie's opinion.

Door slowly turned her head and saw Zombie looking at her. "Great! You found me out!" she said, half laughing, half kicking herself. She sat down next to Zombie. "Underground map. Helps me. Given my power and all. You'd be amazed how many secret doors there are everywhere. And it's adventagious for me to know where they are."

"Oh. Nice. Maybe you can show me sometime. I'd love to get out and have a real party." She said laughing. The parties here were so... well, not her style. They seemed like the up scale snobbish ones. At least the one pearl had was. So she was all for getting out and going to a club.
Just the thought of the party made her steam. She clenched her hand into a fist at the thought. She flinched a little as she did it however. her hand was still pretty burnt from when she had reached in and grabbed Dream from the fire. She hadn't bothered to go and get it checked out. She would have to admit to fighting. Or look like a klutz. And neither appealed to her.

Door laughed slightly. "You know your hand's an illusion right?" Door knew a lot about Dream. She knew a lot about most people actually. "She can't really do anything to you - just make you believe she is. You must be really taken with her - or the illusion wouldn't have lasted so long."

"Dude this one isn't an illusion." Said Zombie laughing and holding up her hand. As proof she peeled the skin off. "I put my hand in a fire. The fire had been burning in the room the whole time. before the girl even walked in there." She said. She knew this one was real. because even after the girl had left the thing had still be going. and why keep it going. Plus everyone seemed to have fires going in their rooms.
"What's her deal anyways? She's a pregnant dog." She stated simply as she skimmed through some more pages. She knew it was rather rude. but she didn't care. She was truthful, and that was just her asking a truthful question.

"Well, that was your own fault. Not hers. You're the one who decided to reach in and pull her out. That's probably why she was in there. She wanted to be left alone."
Door laughed. "That's a random description. Look, I get that you don't like her, but just keep away from her then. Feuding between Mutants only ends badly."

"Did I say it was her fault?" She asked glaring at her slightly. She didn't accuse anyone, and she didn't like the idea of someone thinking she had. She was honest, and she wasn't going to blame someone for something. It was right.
Then she laughed. "I'm not scared of her." She stated simply and went back to the book. She wasn't afraid of much. So she wasn't afraid of some girl who thought she ruled the world because she was something called a Fantasia. Whatever that meant. She still hadn't found out. But she didn't really care anyways.

Door laughed at Zombie's look. Door didn't take things too seriously. "Don't stress so much. It's all right." She smiled and playfully ruffled Zombie's hair.
"I thought I explained what she was that night? No - she's not something to be scared of, none of us are, but we shouldn't be treated lightly either. I bet she's more afraid of you then you could ever be of her" Said Door, almost reading her thoughts.

Zombie rolled her eyes as her hair was messed up. She didn't care thoguh. It was just her hair. she just shook it so it wasn't as static-y. She always had crazy static hair. It was really annoying when she was little. her dad would always stick balloons to her head and laugh.
"Good. A little fear is deemed with respect." She smiled happily. It was always fun to scare hot heads. She had done it before. when she had beaten up Billy Moore in third grade. All because he had called her a priss for wearing a Pink ribbon in her hair, and said that he would never wear anything that weird. She had pummeled him to the ground and he had respected her ever since. Although her father hadn't been very happy.

"So, is it true you want to go to a club?"

"Yeah. This place has boring parties." Stated Zombie with a flick yawn for emphasis. She missed the clubs in Paris. Now those had been rockin. A bunch of Hot Parisian guys and voila. The best party on the planet. And of course all the boys wanted a piece of the Hawt run away. She couldn't deny their qualms now could she?
"I miss the parties back home." She said almost with a frown. She did miss back ho,me. Running around with he Gang. Doing what they needed to survive. She had always been able to get some wicked stuff from this bakery in the center of the City. They had the best chocolate eclairs. And they had eaten them for breakfast. It had been great!

"You're from France, aren't you? I'm from London. Spent a little time in Paris. I grew up in an underground gang. You learn to get along pretty quick."
"I'm not BIG into the club scene, but an outing might be nice. And I have to say, I'm the person to go with. I make it very easy to get in and out of places."

"Paris, born and raised." She nodded. "I ran away when Dad died. So a group of people livin on the streets took me in. The oldest was Darren. He was nineteen at the time." She said laughing. She remembered the first time she had met Darren. She had bonded with him right away. he had found her running from a cranky Baker who she had stolen some bread from. From then on he was like an older brother to her. And they all took care of her. They were family. And she was the baby sister everyone looked out for.
"I'd love to hit a Club. But I still have a little more research I wanna do." She said gesturing to the books all around her. she didn't really get a lot of time to do it anymore. With classes, and training and what not. And she felt bad that she hadn't been trying as hard. She had made a promise and she was going to stick to it. She hated the idea of maybe not being able to find a cure. What would her father say? Would he feel betrayed? let down maybe?
