"Oh look Pearl. A Partner. Aftanoon Sugah." Said Rogue when she noticed Jack there, looking a little red in the face. "Would ya mind partnerin up with Pearl? No Powers of course." She Twanged smiling at him. Poor thing looked horrified, but she had guessed a while ago, he just wasn't very into socializing. "There, then when Zombie and Pois come they can partner up." She said happily and motioned for Jack and Pearl to sit on a desk while Dream and Door fought.

Jack went to sit by Pearl. He recognized her as the girl who'd been trying to open him up at Zombie's party. He stared off to the side, not looking at anyone in particular. He really didn't want to be here. Why had Logan done that? And when did he get back, anyway?

Door smiled at Jack. Poor thing was so shy. She looked back at Dream. This was NOT the girl she wanted to take out. It was oubvious she wasn't a fighter...

"Ok you two. We'll start simple. Blocking punches." Smiled Rogue and stood there demonstrating how to properly block a punch. She only showed them one way for now. She had her hands up and was slapping her hand to the side. A Very effective way to slapp away a punch. Then she smiled. "Ok now ya'll try." She said and waited for them to try.

Dream copied Rogues movements. She actually wasn't half bad. She was grateful that Rogue was starting out easy. She couldn't help but think though that she would never end up using this in a real situation. She had other ways of ... well...to some extent defending herself. Fortuanately, as a member of the X-Men, Prof. X knew how to use her powers most effectively.

Door fought back, praticing the same motions. Honestly, this was rather silly - she'd known how to fight forever, and silly blocks...well...it was probably a good start for the others. She countered Dream's moves but she was...better than she had expected. She didn't have to hold back as much as she'd thought. Then suddenly she shot her right arm out in a blocking move, and Dream fell to the floor. Door looked stunned, she hadn't meant to hit so hard.

Dream started laughing as soon as she landed on her back. She saw the concerned look on Door's face, and she smiled, taking her hand and standing up. "Not too bad for a little dreamer huh?: She looked at Rogue.

"It's not funneh." said Rogue looking at Dream disapprovingly. "If that was a real fight you could have been killed." Said Rogue stonily. She did not want people making a joke of her class. This was important and they needed to take it seriously. She knew that Door knew how to fight, and that was why she had put her with Dream, but she had thought Dream would be serious enough to try harder.
"All right. Next block." Rogue showed them how to block anything from a punch to a kick with her arm. She looked at the girls, hoping they understood and motioned for them to start fighting again. "Use both blocks." But thinking quickly before they started fighting Rogue walked over to Door. "Dun hold back so much Sugah. But don't hurt her." She whispered to her low enough so only she heard. Dream how to realize how serious this was.

Tears came to Dream's eyes. She WAS trying. In fact, she was shocked she hadn't been taken down on the first block. "I am trying Rogue" she said. "I'm not good." She turned and began fighting with Door again. In a moment, she was knocked down again.

"Ah didn't say ya wasn't tryin. I said ya had ta take it serious." said Rogue when she noticed that Dream was upset. She hated to upset her. But she had to learn, more then anyone there. She was part of the X-Men. She should probably know already haw to protect herself. When she saw her get knocked down again she said nothing except one word. "Again." She said and motioned them to go again. She would have them try a few more times then get Jack and Pearl going.

"I am taking it seriously." Dream got up and tried again. This time when Doors arm came down Dream's substance just faded away - she had vanished - except for a collection of what looked like Fairy Dust. When Door's hand was past she re appeared. She ducked under Door's left arm - the lack of an object to stop her momentum caused Door to fall to the ground. Dream looked up, embarrased at Rogue.

Door stood amazed. She'd never even concieved of such a beautiful creature. Door had the power to open things, and she knew in that moment that Dream would never be a fighter. This was almost cruel to her.

Rogue shook her head. " Sit down Dream. She said with a Heavy heart. "I guess ya should sit down too Door." She said and motioned for her to join Dream. "Ok Jack, Pearl. Lets see ya'll try." She motioned for the two other students. She didn't have to show the these two, as she had already showed the class.
She liked this pairing too. She figured Pearl wasn't that much of a fighter, and she knew Jack was. So this would probably be a good pair, as long as they took it seriously.

Door didn't quite understand Rogue's pairings. It seemed like it would be more fair to pair the non fighters together, and the serious fighters together.

Pearl stood up, kicking off her shoes and stepping forward. She was going to be as serious as she could, but she'd never been a fighter....more a lover than a fighter. She smirked at herself, squaring off with Jack.
