"Alright." Twanged Rogue as she walked over to Jack and Pearl. She checked them over. "Ya'll go see Dr.Grey and get checked out, then come back." She told them not sure if anything was wrong on the inside of them. After shooing them of she walked back over to Door and Dream. "Ok a.re ya ready to try again? This time by the rules?" She asked looking more at Dream then Door.
She knew first hand what it was like that have to fight without powers. It was hard, and definitely scary, so these students had to earn too. She didn't want them to end up dead because they dind't know how to defend themselves without tier powers. Though she hoped it would never come to that. Besides, These moves could come in handy when fighting even with the use of your Powers.

Dream looked like she was about to cry. Door looked up at Rogue, "I know you're wary of it, but I've had a lot of experience - could I try pairing up with you? Please!"

"Ah'm sarry. Ah told ya. Ah can't. That's why Ah picked the pairs. All the less experienced need to learn ta hold their own in a fight. It won't always be Fair Door." Said Rogue apologetically. She knew it didn't sound like she was trying to help. But she was. Besides, she couldn't if she wanted too. It was too dangerous for Rogue to fight any student. One punch to the face and the student would end up in a possible coma.
Rogue noticed she was about to cry and tried to sooth the young student. "It's alright ya know. Everything is fine. No one will get seriously hurt. Look and Pearl and Jack. They're fine. It's just a precaution to send them to Jean." She said in what she hoped was a reassuring and calm tone.

"Trust me" said Door. "I'm up for it. I'll take the fall if I get hurt."
Door stood up, and got into position. "Besides, I'll never get as good as I need to be if I don't fight the best." She had been SERIOUSLY holding back from Dream.

Rogue didn't move, only shaking her head. "No." She said. She was the teacher and she wasn't taking orders from a student. Once the others started to get better, she would start pairing up the more serious once together. But for now, Jack and Door had an advantage. They were already well equipped fighters.

Dream got an idea - something Prof. X said had made her think of it. Her power lay in imaginings. Slowly, another form entered the room, a strong, intense woman who looked like a serious fighter. Everyone looked nervous at her appearance. She was intimidating. The woman faced Door, and said "Shall we?" She COULD fight through her dreams.

Door smiled. "Ready" she gleamed. The two went at it. Door held nothing back. She punched the figure, who looked slightly dazed. "Yes!" She thought. Then the woman came back with ten times the force knocking Door on her back. Door looked up stunned. It was hard to take her out. "Good job Dream" she said slightly shaken. "I guess I do have some more work to do Rogue."

Rogue nodded approvingly. At least they were taking it a little more seriously. She looked at Dream. "If your going to do that. Ya have ta try and fight in different forms. You might end up stuck in one form, then what?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Good job to you too Door." She said glad that they were now actually getting somewhere. "Ah guess thats it. Since Pearl and Jack sre going to get checked out." She said, and with that finished class.

Dream giggled as the illusion of the fighter dissapeared. "You know my illusions can't get stuck Rogue, and besides, I'm not transforming myself." Dream got up and went to Door - "are you all right?" the power of her illusions suprised even her sometimes.

Rogue made a face. Obviously, she was completely lost. She thought she understood Dreams powers, but maybe she didn't after all. "Well then, Ah'm afraid Ah'm confused." She said with a quizzical look on her face.
[OOC: Ok. I really don't understand Dreams powers at all then. I'm completely confused.]

OOC: Dream can create illusions - she's not a metamorph, she doesn't change form herself (well...she can change form to some extent, but unlike Mystique she can't walk around looking like another person. In certain extreme situations she can appear to be someone else, but those are only in full out almost dillusional dreams. In this instance Dream just created another person who fought Door - help a little bit?
Dream just smiled. "Everyone thinks they understand, but even Professor X is still a bit perplexed."

"Oh well ok." Said Rogue still confused. She sat back at her desk and motioned with her hands. "Calls is finished. Bye girls." She smiled then bent over some work she needed to do.
