"Yeah. Because talking to the dead is going to destroy the world right?" Asked Zombie ignoring the door now. This was turning into an argument, and she was never one to back down from a fight, or argument or whatever it might be.

"I didn't know that telepethy and telekenesis could get out of control. Hey, it's just moving things, right?"

"Yeah but I'm not doing anything. I'm talking to dead people and reading peoples souls. Big whoop. And I'm not about to make any Dead People Puppets." She stated bluntly. She knew it was wrong, and she wasn't about to move dead bodies. Some people might get pretty pissed off.

"Like I said, you know better than me" Jean said in a sincere tone of voice. "So, the choice is yours."

"Yeah. It is." Said Zombie feeling slightly worn down. She sighed and rubbed her hands over her face and scratched the back of her neck. She licked her lips. "I messed up." She stated simply.

"yes you did" said Jean gently, and kindly. "But all is not lost" she added with a smile. "Tell me your troubles, and we'll figure out what to do."

"That's easy. I don't have a filter." She said. Though she wasn't about to change that. Being honest was one of the things she prided herself on. If you don't have honesty, then what do you have? Nothing, well not in her opinion.
She sighed and plopped down in a chair and kicked her feet up to be crossed, so she was sitting Indian style on it. Then she rubbed the back of her neck.

"Go on." said Jean. "Tell me everything. What bothers you, what you want, how I can help..."

Zombie bit her lip not knowing if she wanted to share. She wasn't much into sharing. But decided to just say the bare minimum, but first. She turned to look at the door then gave Jean a questioning look. "Can ya close the door?" She asked her.

"K, cool." Said Zombie and went on to tell her about the Fight with Dream, and then the fact that Door was pissed at her for wanting magneto dead. How apparently everyone was scared of her now. And that was it. She was sick of everything and when she was done let out a deep sigh and huffed.

"it's all right" said Jean. "First things first. One thing you have to understand about Mutants - they're not all as easy going, and comfortable with their powers as you. You're fortunate - you have a wonderful power, but you can cameflague it. It doesn't affect your every day life. Someone like Dream - it does. And you should learn now that provoking a mutant can have nasty results - mainly on accident. Rogue once went to visit Logan in his room when she heard a noise coming from inside. He was having a bad dream, and when she woke him up, he put his razor claws through her, not realizing who she was. She almost died. It was no ones fault, but some mutants have dangerous abilities.
Dream is an Omega level mutant. As far as we know, I'm the only other Omega in existance. I know from personal experience that it's not easy having such intense powers running inside you. Dream is at a double loss in that she's been seriously used before. You're very self reliant, but most people would kill to get their hands on their deepest desire. And they have. Dream is possibly the oldest mutant in existance, yet in some ways, she's still just a little girl. In reality, she doesn't even have a shape - what she looks like to you is an illusion. She doesn't have a real body. She can never die except by a broken heart, and believe me, it's been tried. Imagine what it would be like if everyone tried to be your best friend so that they could either use you like a genie, or destroy you? She was once imprisoned for 100 years because she refused to use her power for evil.
And you should also understand that what she does has nothing to do with souls. She can't use them, or communicate with them. It just shows you how powerful her powers are that she could convince you that that Dog had a soul. It was all an illusion. The only soul in the equation is hers. So it would be benificial for you to put your anger about "soul abuse" aside, and just trust that, regardless of what you feel, it's not real. She's actually a very scared girl. Getting close to anyone could mean her death, how would you feel?
In terms of Magneto - believe me, you're not the only one that wants him gone, but you must learn that revenge isn't the answer. On a large scale, or small. We have a code here. No one can use their powers - and that includes human powers to hurt another living thing. Otherwise you're just as bad as the mutants who kill. And I include harmless pranks in this. You have to learn forgiveness Zombie. We've all been hurt, deeply. And some of us have been on both sides of revenge. It only leads to bad things. Whatever you may think, you're not all powerful. And believe me, you wouldn't want to be even if you could. "
Jean looked at her bookshelf and a small book, and a very large one floated over. These are two of my favorite books. "The Hobbit", and "The Lord of the Rings." I want you to read them for several reasons. But especially, in "The Hobbit" the main character abstains from taking revenge on a truly despicable creature - Gollum. It is because of that act of kindness that true evil, is eventually destroyed.
She handed the books to Zombie.

"Dream doesn't have to be a pregnant dog though." She stated simply. Most of what Jean had just said went in one ear and out the other. So she'd been used, she just had to deal with it. Most poeple had learnt the consequences of their powers. She had. She had to live with the Sorrows of all the dead people, along with her own. It was just a fact that went along with her life. So why did Dream have to demand all this pity bull nuts?
"And even if it was her powers, it still wasn't cool." She said crossing her arms stubbornly. She hated that people control things. Manipulation pissed her off. Even if it was an extension of themselves, it seems real to everyone else, so to Zombie, the manipulation of the Dog was real, and she didn't like it. It was just her standards, and that was that. Some people liked what Dream could do, others like Zombie, just thought it was sick.
"Revenge is getting Even! And everyone can't be Equals unless their even." Said Zombie, as if she were explaining hopscotch to a 4 year old. It was obvious to her, how could it not be to Dr. Grey?
Zombie plucked the books from the air and looked at them with a raised eyebrow. "Nerd books?" She asked her. These were the kind of books she knew that the nerds around the place read. All the kinds with the thick classes and played Dungeon and Dragons. She placed them on her lap.

"Zombie if you don't want to listen to me then you don't have to be here. You are stubborn as all get out, and if you choose to be here, which you have, you're going to have to give and take a bit.
Dream is not a pregnant dog. And don't you EVER insult another mutant's powers. We didn't choose this. And NO mutant's powers are sick. Dream's power is not manipulation. I can manipulate things. So, I'm sorry, you're the one who needs to get over herself and stop having a pity party. Yes, Dream needs to learn to live with her powers, we all do. But not all of us are hunted down for them. How would you feel if Magneto hunted you down, and threatened to kill you unless you raised a Zombie army for him? And don't give me that line about "you'd kill him." You wouldn't. You're the one who'd be dead.
Revenge is NOT getting even. And it is not your place to be judge over what's fair and what's not. You are not God. If I were you I'd take a long hard look at the insults you sling out to other people - and realize that maybe you're talking about yourself. If you don't learn to be kind to others, than you really will end up without friends, or a home of any kind.
I'm not trying to be mean, but this is the truth, and it's time someone told you."

She smiled a little when Jean started her speech and kept the smile the whole way through. If she was going to be truthful, she was more then merrier to sit there and take it. Pere had always said Don't Dish it Out if you can't eat it! And thats exactly what she was doing. She threw insults and blunt truth around all the time. So she would sit her and listen.
When she was done she smiled. "Merci. Your honesty is awesome!" She said happily. It was refreshing to hear others being honest.
