Lots of people talk to animals.... Not very many listen, though.... That's the problem.

Dimitri sat at the counter in the kitchen, at three o'clock in the morning eating some ice cream. He once again couldn't get to sleep and was dying of hunger. He liked the Neapolitan ice cream off his s p o o n, before plunging it back in to get some more. Sometimes it was really hard having Insomnia. It got really boring all alone at night.

Suddenly a soft beam of light entered through the doorway. It was quickly extinguished, just as it was a sweet voice said "oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know anyone was in here."

Dimitri blinked hard when he saw the light. It was hard on his eyes, and then heard a voice. "That's ok." He said in his Russian accent upon seeing it was Dream. He didn't really know her, but he knew a little about her from what he heard around Campus.

Dimitri picked up his ice cream container and held it up. "I have insomnia and I was hungry." he said sheepishly his shyness kicking in.

"Don't be shy. I do the same thing" said Dream. She saw the nervous look in his eyes. Suddenly instead of Dream in front of him, there was a beautiful white tiger. "This better?" she asked speaking directly to his mind. She couldn't actually transform her apperance - it was an illusion.

"A little actually." Spoke Dimitri, though through his mouth not his mind. "Do you want some?" He asked trying to be polite and held out the ice cream carton.

"Your welcome." He said letting go of it and licking what he had left off his spoon. he heaved a sigh and closed his eyes leaning back slightly on the stool he was sitting on.

OOC: No clue. It keeps changing it on me. It's supposed to be spoon.
"There isn't much to tell. I'm from Russia. I can change into animals." He said shrugging when he opened his eyes and sat up straight again. He knew a little a little bit about her, but hoped it not too rude to ask for more. "What about yourself? I know a little, but not a lot." he said respectfully.

"Oh ok." Said Dimitri said storing all that in his mind to remember. "I'm sorry if I offended you." He said quietly, afraid sh was angered by the really old thing.
