When Maria stopped crying Zombie pulled away from her a little. "Now why were you running from me?" She asked her while whipping tears away. "I sorry. I didn wan him ta cry." She said new tears falling. Zombie looked at the others, as if they could hear her and turned back. "What do you mean baby doll?" She asked her sweetly. The girl just buried her face and said four words before falling into her misery again. "I make bad dweams." Zombie just nodded and soothed the girl, tears falling from her own eyes feeling her pain and anguish.
"It's ok. Everythings fine." She said trying to reassure the girl. It might explain a lot of stuff around here. "He's ok. Everythings ok. You just calm down." She said, the tears streaming as the girl hiccuped and cried silently.

Luke was stunned and a little hurt when Dream grabbed Jack away from him, but he brushed it off by moving away from the group and watching, arms crossed. So what? Luke didn't like hugs anyway...
OOC: Oh, Brittney! I named them! Oscar, Fink, Dot, and I'm still thinking what to call the other girl. I'm thinking Sweet Pea or something. I wanna give her a real cutesie name =P

Dream looked up at Luke, she said directly to his mind. "I'm sorry, I was just so worried he was going to freak out when the light went out. I didn't mean to grab him from you. You were so kind to him...thank you."

Luke shrugged and shoved against her mind. He didn't like being invaded like that. She could just as easily have said it aloud. He felt bad. It wasn't her fault. She didn't do anything wrong.

Pearl, a little late for the action due to her inability to wake quickly, came in sleepy eyed in a chinese silk robe. "What is going on in here?" There seemed to be a large group of people gathered around Jack at three in the morning...in the dining room of all places. She rubbed her eyes, trying to focus and see who was there and possibly why.

Luke was closest to the stairs, and he was near Pearl. He explained quietly what had happened. "Jack had a nightmare while he was awake. He looked like he was being attacked." He noticed her pajamas. "Have you ever been to the Orient?"

"Twice actually, but I don't remember the first time. I was a very little girl." She'd done a lot of traveling. I was something both she and her 'parents' enjoyed. "Have you?"

Jack finally came to his senses a little. Enough to realize he was in someone's arms. He wasn't sure who, in the dark, but it was comforting. He whispered, "Wh-what happened? Where am I?"

Jack pushed away from Dream to assess his surroundings. He saw Professor X and started. "Wh-what? What did I do?" He realize dhow many people were around him and became frantic. What happened? Why was everyone here?
