Jack stumbled into the dark kitchen and froze. He hadn't expected anyone else to be down here. The nightmare was still vivid in his mind, but he forced himself to breathe evenly. "S-sorry... I... I can't sleep. I needed a glass of water." He looked at the floor, avoiding their eyes. He knew Dream, and recognized the boy from the garden earlier that day, but didn't know his name.
OOC: type it in spaces: "s p o o n" idk why it's changing like that. Censored, for some reason. I made a thread in OOC for stuff like that to bring it out for the admin.

"You didn't offend me," said Dream, "I was just making a joke. It's true, I am very old." She saw Jack enter the room, she changed back into a human form, not wanting to scare him. "Hello Jack. Haven't talked to you for a long time."

Lots of people talk to animals.... Not very many listen, though.... That's the problem.

"It's ok. I know the feeling." Dimitri said when Jack said he couldn't sleep. Dimitri could barely ever really sleep. He smiled kindly at Dream thankful she hadn't taken her age thing the wrong way.

"I... I just need water." He skirted the room and went to the cupboard. He took a glass and filled it with water from the sink. He sat down at the table, staring at the top of it, and tried to push the images out of his head. The same ones. Green water and a dim light overhead. Warbled voices...

Jack was brought back from the visions by Dream's voice. He stuttered. "Uh... wh-what?" It was hard to think with that light in his mind.

"Zombie? The Bright haired girl?" Asked Dimitri as he looked on. He couldn't miss that hair bouncing around and having fun. Though he had never really talked to him personally. "What's she like?" He asked. He took her for very outgoing. She seemed to show it through her attire, but other then that, he knew nothing. And Dimitri was always up for learning about new people.

Dimitri was confused. "What does that have to do with you leaving?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. So someone didn't like her. He understood from experience here, not everyone is going to like you. "Not everyone is going to lie you Dream. I do of course. But others might not. You can't control it. You just have to except it." he said trying to be comforting. he didn't like it when people seemed sad.
